Laketa Dumas: I am born entrepreneur with a passion to help others. My life’s purpose was discovered through divine inspiration. I believe my true gift is the ability to encourage and inspire others to believe in their dreams, and I do it through entrepreneurship. As a passionate entrepreneur, I went to numerous seminars, conferences, workshops, and boot camps and wrote several business plans. However, the most valuable lessons I learned was through my personal experiences, which include traveling to China and building relationships with manufacturers, patenting a concept, publishing a textbook, designing an app, and developing a business game. Through my countless failures (also known as stepping stones) to success came the true meaning of business that could not be taught, but truly experience. I established “Divine Connection Consulting Group” (DCCG) to help individuals fulfill their purpose through entrepreneurship. I was able to help several start-up and existing businesses become more prosperous. I holds a bachelor’s degree in management; a master’s in entrepreneurship.
